Several months ago I saw one post that was telling that credit cards are dying and that very soon the world will pay only by means of electronic payment systems online. But the latest tendencies show the contrary. According to the news there is a crisis of electronic currencies, especially of e-gold. At the same time, every day we receive such news as Visa has launched its new subsidiary, or MasterCard has issued new type of cards…. And they are hundreds; just see financial summaries in some online sites devoted to economy, for example, http://ecommerce-journal.com. So, as we can see the industry of credit cards is not only still alive but continues development without any wish to die. That couldn’t be said about payment systems. Today there is a great variety of payment systems but they disappear soon. Today the whole financial world discusses 2 problems: e-gold’s trial and appearance of Swiss payment system Perfect Money. The latter is said to replace E-gold if the giant is dyes. So, I want to say that those who think that the era of plastic cards ended are absolutely wrong. I myself use them very often and don’t want to refuse them. Millions of people use plastic cards worldwide as plastic cards are reliable and payment systems are like a card-house that can be destroyed with an easiness.
